The Samsung Galaxy S7 and S7 Edge are available to pre-order now, ahead of their 11th March launch date. It seems that Samsung has pulled it out of the bag and really listened to their customers. A lot of features that users complained were missing on the S6 and S6 Edge have been reintroduced on the S7 and S7 Edge.
The new models in the Samsung Galaxy range have an IP68 rating, meaning they are completely dust proof and water resistant up to 1.5 metres for 30 minutes. This is the highest IP rating available.
The charging and headphone ports remain unchanged, so they are constantly open. This makes the IP rating from Samsung quite impressive!
The camera lump on the back of the phone has been slimmed down, making the device appear much more sleek. Also gone is the flat back of the S6 Edge; it has been replaced with lightly curved edges that fit into your hand more comfortably. The S7 Edge is also larger than the S6 Edge, with a 0.4inch increase in screen size.
Samsung has also brought back the microSD card slot, meaning that the already decent 32GB and 64GB memory sizes are now expandable.
