The New Nokia 5800 – First Impressions

The new Nokia 5800 which was launched in February is proving very popular with small business users as well as the retail public. This is Nokia’s first mobile with a touch screen. The phone reassures the user by giving a tiny kick each time a “button” on the screen is pressed. The interface is really very good and is the closest thing we have seen yet to the ease of use of the iphone. The quality and speed of the touch screen bodes well for the development of this feature in future handsets. The unit will also connect direct to corporate e-mail systems using Nokia’s Mail For Exchange software.
