Jubilee Sailing Trust

National charity Jubilee Sailing Trust (JST) is reaping unexpected benefits from a new partnership with Southampton’s Next Communications. A couple of weeks ago, Next’s managing director, Mark Finlayson presented the charity with a cheque for £1,400. Andy Spark from JST accepted the cheque on board the Tall Ship – Lord Nelson.

The two Southampton-based organisations recently joined forces when JST appointed Next to handle all of its mobile communication needs. JST decided to appoint Next specifically because the company offers a truly customer-focussed service; JST runs a busy team who needs to know that it has a mobile service which can be relied on to function at all times, from locations all over the world. As experts in the field of mobile voice and data solutions, Next was quickly able to put together a tailor-made package to ensure that JST has the best, most efficient and cost-effective communications service.

Mark Finlayson said: “JST is a unique organisation. It operates the only two tall ships in the world designed and built to enable people of all physical abilities to sail side-by-side, as equals. The work it does is life-changing and life-enhancing. No-one could fail to be impressed by its professionalism and dedication in overcoming prejudice and misconceptions about disability.
