What is Horizon?
Horizon is a complete communications service for your business that provides a range of fixed and mobile telephony capabilities via an easy-to-use web portal. What are the benefits?
Easily controllable features – Horizon allows you to control your phone system with an extensive range of call handling and management features, all operated through an easy-to-use web interface. It is ideal for businesses with multiple sites, as calls are free between locations and branches are connected without an expensive phone system on each site.

Desk and mobile phone “twinning” – callers only need to dial one number to simultaneously reach both your desk and mobile phone. Calls can also be seamlessly transferred from one device to the other without hanging up. Also, a single voicemail box can be accessed from any device. It is perfect for businesses with employees who are regularly out of the office and don’t want to miss any calls.

Enables flexible working – Horizon helps businesses become more efficient by enabling hot-desking and home working and extending the service to mobile devices. Unexpected events such as snow, floods or strikes won’t disrupt your business. As Horizon is hosted in the cloud, the service provides business continuity features that allow you to carry on making and taking calls.

What does it cost?
There are three different tiers: bronze, silver and gold. Each tier has a different monthly cost, and different inclusive packages.

Bronze – “pay as you use”. The subscription to the Horizon service is a lower monthly charge but there is no inclusive call package with this option. Local, national and mobile calls are charged by the minute and fraud protection can be added to each number for a small charge.

Silver – the most popular option. This option has a higher monthly subscription charge than the bronze tier, but all local and national calls are free of charge. Mobile calls are charged by the minute but fraud protection is included free of charge.

Gold – unlimited. The monthly subscription charge for this package is higher again, but all local, national and mobile calls are included. Fraud protection is also free of charge.

Handset Incentive
If Gamma Converged broadband is taken out alongside the monthly subscriptions, the handsets are completely free of charge.
