Dave Frederick – Technical Manager
Dave has been at Next Communications almost as long as Managing Director Mark - he joined the company 16 years ago and has a practical background in commercial and vehicle security installation.
Dave enjoys working alongside Chris in the services and repair centre, where he oversees the operation of the centre and carries out the installation of all hands-free car kits and tracking devices. Responsibility for stock control and making sure that orders are properly processed all fall under his remit. In addition, Dave is in charge of internal IT matters and is the first port of call for anyone who needs technical help or advice.
Working in the services and repair centre is his ideal career, as it means he gets lots of face-to-face contact with customers and is able to ensure they get the best service possible.
Outside work, Dave runs a Scout Group and enjoys camping and walking - anything to do with life outdoors.
Looking ahead to the next ten years, Dave sees himself still with Next but as car kit installations are gradually absorbed by the motor industry, he is on the lookout for the next product to fit into the company portfolio.
